Asphodelus albus
A perennial, reaching up to 3 feet, that is native to Europe ( from France to Hungary; south to the Mediterranean ).
The linear leaves, up to 0.8 inches wide, are mid-green.
The white flowers are borne during late spring.
Hardy zones 6 to 8.

Asphodeline lutea ( Yellow Asphodel )
A rhizomatous perennial, reaching a maximum size of 5 x 3.3 ( rarely over 4 x 2 ) feet, and is native to the Mediterranean though also further north to Romania in eastern Europe.
The narrow, grassy, silvery leaves, up to 12 inches in length, are blue-green.
The fragrant, bright yellow flowers, up to 1 inch across, are borne on stiff spikes up to 12 inches in length, during late spring into early summer.
Hardy zones 6 to 8 in full sun to partial shade on just about any well drained soil. Propagation is either from seed or dividing done early spring or autumn. Clumps should be divided every other year.
