Catanche Catanche caerulea *( Cupid's Dart )
A perennial, reaching up to 30 x 34 inches in size, that is native to southwestern Europe ( France to Italy; south to Spain ).
The narrow foliage is gray-green.
The lavender-blue flowers, up to 1.2 inches wide, are borne during mid-summer to early autumn.
Hardy in full sun on sandy, well drained soil.
