As for this page; I have not posted new entries in the past few days. As I hoped to review a new grouping of plants every single day I dedided to finish the Oaks and Pines first which are (along with Maples which is coming up ) the largest articles simply because the number of species and cultivars that make excellent landscape and forestry plants in North America number in the hundreds.
Next week I will post Sycamores & Plane Trees and the exotic looking Osage Orange ( including pictures of the Maryland State Champion which is "the largest tree in Laurel ) and also run a massive promotion campaign in Canada which has seen so much of its tree cover decimated by Emerald Ash Borer in the East and Pine Bark Beetle in the West.
